We are the FIRST UK spirits distributor to be B Corp certified, not just for our business, but for every brand in our portfolio.

B Corp is a certification meaning that a business is meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance and is committed to having a positive impact on our people and the planet.

Businesses must earn a minimum of 80 points out of a possible 200 to quality. We are delighted to have achieved 89.2 points under the heading of governance, environment, workers, community and customers – a score we will work towards improving year on year.

We are a low carbon company with year-on- year goals with 2022 seeing a 23% reduction in operational carbon emissions. We have a reduce waste mission across the business with maximum 10% to landfill and zero to landfill target by 2050.

Hayman’s

• The Distillery is run on 100% green energy.
• All the used botanicals undergo a process which turns them into renewable energy & a rich biofertilizer for our farmers. Every tonne recycled in this way prevents 0.5-1Tonne of CO2 entering the atmosphere.
• Recyclable and compostable packaging.
• We offer a recyclable eco-refill box for our on-trade customers to reduce waste and glass usage.
• Partnerships with the charities we work with – The Back Up Trust who support people with spinal cord injuries, and The Drinks Trust who support our industry.
• Educating the hospitality and retail industry through our regular Training Academy workshops at our Distillery.
• Supporting the trade with the sustainable initiatives and goals through WSTA and Family Business United.

• The label is made from discarded sugar cane
• The cork is made from waste cork,
• The rum is distilled in a distillery where over 30% of the energy used is from waste,
• 1% for the Planet Members – we donate 1% of our sales to protect the ocean,
